The person in this role will work from the Medtronic facility located in Mounds View, Minnesota.

The Healthcare Data Governance team is a highly visible, cross-functional team leading data strategy & governance for Healthcare & Patient data as well as Rights to Data capabilities. In this role, you will be the main product analyst for our Consent Platform as well as Policy Management. You will also engage in gathering business requirements for Patient MDM.

CAREERS THAT CHANGE LIVES

DAILY/WEEKLY

  • Participate in team meetings, providing updates on status of efforts, tasks, and documentation. 
  • Provide estimate of work to complete new onboarding activities. 
  • Facilitate standups or testing calls added as needed for new demand.

MONTHLY

  • Engage with stakeholders including legal, privacy, application support, vendor contacts, etc. 
  • Perform maintenance updates to OneTrust.

AS NEEDED

  • Manage documentation on Jira and Confluence and follow MSCM standards. 
  • Have a good understanding of the existing architecture and be able to talk to OUs about steps to implement the platform. 
  • Gather requirements for new demand engagements
  • Create and contribute to proposals for new demand engagements
  • Create and maintain documents for the existing ecosystem and new demand
  • Present to existing and potential stakeholders on the capabilities and function of the Consent Ecosystem, Data Rights strategy, and OneTrust
  • Identify areas where the Data Rights, Digital Identity, and Consent Ecosystem can be improved
  • Perform OneTrust system administrative activities with confidence and in approved way. 
  • Report out OneTrust metrics to team members, leadership, and stakeholders
  • Act as primary technical support for the platforms, including Triage and/or resolve INCs assigned to “OneTrust-Americas” group; work ServiceNow TASKS assigned to “OneTrust-Americas” group; create or contribute to CHG tickets for “OneTrust-Americas” group
  • Open support cases with OneTrust’s support for troubleshooting or product questions
  • Ensure HCIT Support team has current information to complete support tasks
  • Update client secrets within OneTrust UAT and Prod workflows

MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of experience with an advanced degree

NICE TO HAVE (Preferred Qualifications)

  • 2+ years healthcare and digital health experience
  • 2+ years’ experience as a business analyst writing requirements and user stories.
  • Knowledge of consent management platform. 
  • Knowledge of basic Postman usage and APIs
  • Awareness of agile & software development methodologies
  • Ability to listen, build rapport, and credibility as a strategic partner vertically within the business unit, as well as with leadership and functional teams.
  • Ability to map joint organizational vision and long-term thinking, imagination, and idea generation.
  • Energy, focus, assertiveness, and diplomacy.
  • Knowing when to push an agenda and when to let a situation develop, rest, or advance.
  • Highly developed communication skills.
  • Ability to focus on business value results, rather than solutions.
  • Technical aptitude, requirements management, and the ability to assess and articulate risk variables.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$93,600.00 - $140,400.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).

 

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to all regular employees: Incentive plans, 401(k) plan plus employer contribution and match, Short-term disability, Paid time off, Paid holidays, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Employee Assistance Program, Non-qualified Retirement Plan Supplement (subject to IRS earning minimums), and Capital Accumulation Plan (available to Vice Presidents and above, or subject to IRS earning minimums).

 

Regular employees are those who are not temporary, such as interns.  Temporary employees are eligible for paid sick time, as required under applicable state law, and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Please note some of the above benefits may not apply to workers in Puerto Rico.
