Job Summary and General Duties • Under the direction of the principal, you will serve as a day to day certificated substitute working in a classroom in the absence of the regular teacher • Provide appropriate instruction using current methods of instructional delivery • Implement classroom management strategies • Provide support to our teachers, students, and administrative staff • Perform other related duties as assigned by the principal Experience • Classroom teaching experience is desirable. • For new teachers, we offer the opportunity to do classroom observations at each grade level to gain teaching experience and to familiarize yourself with our district. Rowland Unified long term positions require a valid full CA Credential, Short term positions require a full credential or substitute teaching permit All required documents must be attached as part of your Ed-join application. Daily Rate- $190.00 Loyalty Rate- $200.00

Daily rate: $190.00 for full day • Loyalty rate: $200.00 for full day This rate becomes effective after 45 days in RUSD as a substitute during the same school year and resets each school year. • Long term rate: $225.00 for full day For 21 or more consecutive days in the same classroom, as the primary classroom teacher, retroactive to the first day of the long term assignment.
