Job Summary
- Coordinates evaluations, exams, academic tracking, and communication between faculty and trainees.
- Creates and maintains data reports; identifies and resolves operational, educational, and scheduling issues.
- Maintains trainee records and documentation to ensure compliance with ACGME, ABA, and UCSF requirements.
- Advises trainees on program progression, exam preparation, scheduling, and graduation requirements.
- Plans and supports educational events, onboarding activities, and other program-related functions.
- Analyzes trainee performance data and curriculum outcomes; prepares summary reports for leadership.
- Consults with program managers and directors on policy, process improvements, and educational needs.
- Serves as a liaison between undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education units to support coordinated programming.
- Maintains program website, curriculum materials, recruitment collateral, and trainee resource tools in alignment with UCSF branding standards.
- Manages monthly and daily trainee schedules to ensure proper staffing across UCSF clinical sites (Parnassus, Mission Bay, ZSFG, SFVA) and monitors compliance with work hour and curriculum requirements.
- Oversees distribution and updates of trainee handbooks and manages Care phones for residents, fellows, interns, faculty, and CRNAs.
- Provides general administrative oversight for the Anesthesia Education Office and supports regulatory, operational, and financial processes.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Administrative experience in higher education, healthcare, or a complex academic setting.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information and work with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, and educational or scheduling systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in GME, medical education administration, or ACGME-regulated programs.
- Familiarity with UCSF systems (e.g., MedHub, Smartsheet, UCPath, Qualtrics).
- Experience with curriculum support, event planning, and evaluations.
