Essential Functions:
Plan, organize and bring to completion the redesign/optimization of the center console and cockpit area in assembly 2. This project will involve: design of kitting system to eliminate mutilation potential for all parts that need to be preassembled in the mentioned areas. Intern will work closely with the department's engineers in order to get direction and together bring project to a completion in the alloted time. Project involves, revamping of kitting boxes, new rack, improve process flow for the area, design of new improved racks, process improvements etc.
Other regular daily tasks:
Support engineering group as needed, attend daily engineering meetings, be able to support other activities and trainings as needed.
