Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Education Specialist/ Case Carrier, IA SE assist a classroom teacher in reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of students in a general education and special education classroom environment; assist in the presentation and preparation of learning materials, lesson plans, instructional exercises in classroom and resource room environments; assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEP) and Behavior Support Plan (BSP); perform clerical and supportive tasks for instructional personnel.

Requirements / Qualifications
Education and Experience: Any combination of training, education, and experience which demonstrates possession of the knowledges and abilities stated in the attached job description, and the ability to perform the duties of the position.
Education: Graduation from high school and college coursework in Child Development, Education, Social Work, or any other related field.
Experience: One-year experience working with school age special needs students in an organization setting or learning environment.
