We are looking for a skilled and highly motivated person to join and strengthen Materials Management Team in the Global Supply function for Biomaterial Solutions and Services business.
In this global role, you will focus on developing and maintaining the material planning processes in optimizing material flows and balancing demand-supply processes within the global supply chain.
You are responsible for the global strategy and execution of material planning activities to ensure the right materials are available and deliverable at the right time and place to support production and customer demand. Your role is to optimize the place for stocking, ensure alignment with demand forecasts, optimize the dispatch place for customer delivery and driving cross-functional collaboration across logistics centers, business units and manufacturing units.
You communicate actively and engage key stakeholders at senior level and operational level. You will establish the material planning forum and lead the global material planning process together with different stakeholders to optimize the material flow and guide operations to define planning parameters to balance and optimize the supply chain. You identify and drive proactively development ideas and manage change in your responsibility area.
To be successful in this position, you will need:
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Business Administration and/or Engineering.
Over 10 years of experience in material or supply planning, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the context of global industrial manufacturing.
Entrepreneurial mindset with clear drive to lead change and transformation of business in global, networked environment.
Strong interpersonal skills including extensive knowledge in managing matrix teams & stakeholders with geographically and culturally diverse setup.
Excellent cooperation and teamwork, while maintaining high integrity and commitment to achieving the organization's goals.
Strong analytical skills and strategic acumen, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
Good IT skills with strong MS Excel skills. Knowledge of Infor LN and e.g. APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP) as benefit
Strong understanding of global supply chain networks, planning systems, and inventory management.
Fluent English, both written and oral.
