We are looking for a Worker’s Compensation and Auto Claims Coordinator. This position is responsible for management of Workers’ Compensation and Automobile claims in the United States as a shared service function for the Divisions under Country Management. The responsibilities include investigation of new claims, ongoing management of claims files, communication with injured employees, counsel, medical providers, insurance providers and adjusters, internal operational management, HS&E Directors and HR managers. The person will be responsible for preparing reporting on individual and aggregate claims. The candidate must be able to use a computer and electronic systems to send, receive, organize, and store documents.

Receive initial reports of accidents and injuries.
Provide information to injured workers and their supervisors on processes.
Track medical care for injured workers.
Participate in establishing reserves with Intertek’s insurers.
Securely store and retrieve medical documents out of electronic database.
Work with insurance adjusters to manage contested files.
Work with the injured worker’s supervisors to provide, when feasible, limited or restricted duty positions during recovery.
Liaise with Divisional HS&E Directors and HR managers on policies and procedures and claims.
Ability to read and understand contractual language.
Other duties as needed.

Educational Requirement: (Depends on compensation)
Experience Requirement: The ability to learn and understand the legal requirements of States and Provinces where incidents occur.
Past work experience in a professional office environment, demonstrating the ability to manage communications in a polite and firm manner.
Ability to work under pressure and time deadlines.
Ability to communicate in oral and written forms in English. French and Spanish languages a plus.
