AP PROCESS SPECIALIST – Live Productiion (WILLMAR, MN)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Processes vendor invoices by accurately entering and verifying details to ensure timely and compliant payments.
• Reviews and resolves invoice discrepancies by troubleshooting errors and coordinating with vendors and internal departments.
• Communicates with vendors to address payment inquiries, clarify invoice issues, and maintain positive working relationships.
• Initiates and codes P-Card transactions by processing payments and ensuring accurate account allocation and reconciliation.
• Manages fleet vehicle administration by overseeing registration, maintenance schedules, and assignment records for company vehicles.
• Handles WEX card oversight by monitoring fuel card usage, verifying charges, and ensuring proper coding and reconciliation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• Discipline, forward thinking and self-motivated.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Preferred:

• A two-year degree or more than 2 years’ experience in related accounting discipline.
• Experience running reports and trouble shooting from various systems to get desired result.

At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.  The base hiring pay range for this role is between $19.25-$27.00 per hour, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
