We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our team. This opportunity is ideal for a college student currently pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, who has completed at least one accounting course and envisions a future in the accounting profession.
As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in various areas of accounting and finance, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), financial analysis, and general administrative support. You’ll work closely with experienced professionals and contribute to real projects that impact the business.
Position Reports to: Controller
Overall Responsibilities:
Primary duties will include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Support financial analysis and reporting tasks
- Help with document scanning, filing, and organization
- Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives
- Maintain accuracy and confidentiality in handling financial data
- Collaborate with team members to improve workflows and efficiency
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program in Accounting or related field
- Completed at least one accounting course
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
- Ability to work on-site in a collaborative environment
