Management Level:

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for coordinating the ordering, receiving, and warehousing of all boxes, film, labels, ingredients and other packaging items to ensure the production team has the packaging needed to run their production schedules on a daily basis. This position manages two shifts of team members that work up to 7 days per week. This position will need to manage all packaging inventories, make sure week ending inventories are performed correctly, and maintain proper inventory levels. This position will need to ensure their team is following all safety rules and requirements for this facility. Other responsibilities include coordinating with our vendors to ensure proper delivery dates, ensuring safety procedures are being implemented, and conduct crew and shift meetings to communicate goals and expectations, and performing other responsibilities as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Education beyond high school including special training, vocational school, and/or college courses is preferred.

Experience: 3 plus years of management experience.  Experience with Warehouse Management systems highly desirable.  Red Prairie DLx computer system experience is a plus.

Computer Skills: Requires basic computer skills.

Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills required.

Supervisory: This position is responsible for managing multiple groups of personnel who perform dissimilar tasks and activities in several different departments.

Special Skills: Strong Math skills.

Travel: 2 plus trips per year.
