Position Overview

Lindsay Renewables is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead daily operations at our expanding Plant 2 facility in Canal Fulton, Ohio. This individual will oversee multiple production lines, guide our team of integrators, and manage electrical contractors supporting large-scale equipment assembly. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, Lean manufacturing expertise, and a proven ability to develop efficient, safe, and scalable production environments as we continue to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of multiple production lines, ensuring production goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Lead and support a team of integrators and electrical contractors, ensuring coordination across departments and shifts.
• Implement and sustain a 5S system to drive workplace organization, safety, and efficiency.
• Apply and promote Lean principles to improve process discipline, eliminate waste, and enhance throughput.
• Develop, refine, and optimize production line layouts, workflows, and procedures to support increasing capacity.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth integration of materials, equipment, and product flow.
• Track, analyze, and report financial and operational performance metrics to support continuous improvement and cost management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Foster a culture of leadership, accountability, and continuous improvement, coaching supervisors and team leads to achieve plant goals.
• Partner with leadership to plan and execute strategic initiatives as the facility continues its year-over-year capacity expansion.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment, ideally within large-equipment or industrial system production.
• Demonstrated experience developing and managing production lines and implementing Lean and 5S programs.
• Experience working with large materials, overhead cranes, and equipment featuring integrated electrical systems.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to manage and report key performance indicators.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Proven success leading teams through growth and operational scaling.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in large-scale equipment assembly or facilities with integrated mechanical and electrical systems.
• Background managing teams in a multi-line production environment undergoing rapid capacity growth.
• Experience leading a mixture of direct employees and subcontractors, effectively managing performance, communication, and collaboration.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification preferred.
