Responsible for the direct supervision of staff under the direction of the team leader.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: 

  • Act as resource to primary team members to provide clinical guidance according to policy and procedure and address questions and concerns with follow up as needed
  • Review skilled need, symptom management and staffing needs with primary team.
  • Oversees/coordinates needs for declining and/or imminent patients.
  • Provide team coverage in the absence of the team leader
  • Oversee scheduler as directed by the team leader.
  • Oversee application process including tracking of applicants, performing telephone interviews and participating in initial face-to-face interview as directed by team leader.
  • Assist in the evaluation of primary team members in collaboration with the team leader
  • Assist team leader in planning and facilitating staff meetings.
  • Oversee monthly education requirements for HNA team members.
  • Oversee orientation for new staff including developing and maintaining orientation schedule, resource materials, ensuring scope of experiences and monitoring employee progress.
  • Assist with review of timesheets and HNA logs for team members in collaboration with team leader.
  • Assist in the development and presentation of education/in-service programs to team members.
  • Participate in corrective action process for team members under the direction of the team leader.
  • Conduct chart reviews and other QAPI initiatives as assigned.
  • Audit collaboration between LPN and RN.
  • Assist with coordination of clinical services.
  • Assist with maintaining continuity of care between shifts.
  • Provide assistance to the team in the identification and resolution of problems and concerns in patient/family care.
  • Assist with appropriate record keeping and tracking statistics.
  • Manage and operationalize allocation of resources within the allocated budget.
  • Other duties as assigned by team leader.

 

SUCCESS CAPABILITIES:

  • Licensed RN in State of Ohio
  • BS or equivalent experience preferred
  • Leadership experience or demonstrated ability to lead.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

  • Compliance to Annual Flu Shot Policy or ability to provide exemption documentation
  • Provide an active auto insurance policy as a licensed driver in the State of Ohio with the proper level of coverage as directed
  • Provide an active driver’s license
  • Ability to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • High level of integrity, ethics and professionalism.
