Summary:
This position is responsible for the services and programming within a Daymark Recovery Services Facility Based Crisis center. This position reports directly to the FBC Operations Director. This position is responsible for all local clinical operations and compliance will all applicable policies, procedures, regulations and laws. Offers on-going mentoring, coaching and training to clinical staff. Assures adequate staffing at all times to meet service demand. This position is the community liaison between DAYMARK Recovery Services and the community at large and is often the spokesperson for DAYMARK Recovery Services to the community.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures strict compliance with all professional standards, IPRS/NC State, Federal Medicaid and Medicare regulations, agency policies and procedures. Maintains care and compliance with all rules for the facility.
- Monitors all expenses and ensures that expenditures are within proposed budget for Center. Assists with development of center budget. Provides clinicians, support staff and nursing staff direction on maintaining efficiency in processes
- Evaluate the ongoing performance of consumer services, as well as the individual performance of clinicians. Responsible for oversight of assigned staff, to include selection, training, evaluation, and disciplinary action. Responsible for the selection & hiring of staff. Serves as the liaison between the FBC Operations Director and the FBC staff
- Provides or arranges for clinical direction and supervision, with appropriate documentation, to all members of treatment team. Provides or arranges for in-service
- training as appropriate, deliver clinical education programs, including
- best practices training to staff, also participates in agency-wide training
- programs/in-services
- Assures all paperwork and documentation is completed in a timely manner according to established guidelines. Works with office manager and medical records team leader to ensure that all regulatory standards are followed.

Special Attributes: Strong psychosocial, clinical assessment knowledge. Minimal supervision regarding use of time, able to prioritize work assignments. Must possess strong knowledge of clinical skills, a vast knowledge base of mental health and substance abuse disorders and vigor to continue the learning process. Ability to communicate effectively with professionals and clients/families. Ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Provide on-site administrative supervision to all FBC staff

Education and/or Experience: Minimum of a Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or other license eligible field strongly preferred. MBA or other business degree. Work history of five plus years of clinical practice preferred. Must have administrative supervisory history of no less than two years. Will consider other non-licensable degrees with commensurate work experience and skill, including BSW, BSN, or RN.
