Job Description

You will be the Manufacturing Planner Staff for the Production Planning & Control (PP&C) team. Our team is responsible for planning activities associated with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions and supporting program‑wide manufacturing activities across multiple Missiles & Fire Control sites.



What You Will Be Doing


As the Manufacturing Planner Staff you will be the hub that synchronizes material flow, kit releases, and hardware shipments for a fast‑moving development program transitioning to production.


Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:



  • Create and maintain MRP schedules, work orders, and kit releases to meet dynamic program demands.

  • Coordinate hardware shipments between Orlando and other MFC sites, ensuring timely delivery to customers.

  • Partner with Quality, Engineering, and Program Management to prioritize work on the production floor.

  • Monitor inventory levels, generate move orders, and resolve bottlenecks that could impact production cadence.

  • Support facilitation and capital‑planning efforts, traveling up to 25 % as needed.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education

Past experience in any of the following areas: Make/Buy/BOM Planning, Supply Chain, or equivalent or experience in one area with an understanding of the other two.

Proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs including SAP, Microsoft office, and Apriso, or equivalent.

Strong organization and communication skills.

Strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills.

Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing and/or supply chain management.

Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills.

Knowledge of Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS).

Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance, therefore selected candidate must be a US Citizen.

Desired skills

Ability to work with multiple levels of management, industry, peers, a represented workforce or business.

Windchill and MPMLink experience,

Previous working experience with engineering drawings and parts lists.

Inventory Control and material handling knowledge, including familiarity with material requirements and Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas of responsibility.

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Security Clearance Information

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,400 - $150,650. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $98,300 - $170,315. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
