Job Description
We are seeking a motivated, results‑driven Software Engineer to join the Stormbreaker program within LM Space.
Our team develops innovative enterprise, Cloud and application-based solutions for mission management, command and control, planning and scheduling along with world-class operations and sustainment capabilities of space- based programs in support of national security.
In this role you will be part of an agile development team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining end‑to‑end solutions built on .NET 8+ and modern front‑end frameworks (Angular or React)
As an experienced developer on the team, you will have a role in shaping the solutions the team develops.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative, forward-leaning programs while working alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry.
This is an MID-SR CAREER (level 4) ROLE where candidates typically require 5+ years of professional experience and a BS degree or above.
An active TS/SCI clearance is required for consideration.

Basic Qualifications
• Comprehensive understanding of software development using C# and object-oriented programming principles
• Demonstrated proficiency developing applications for .NET8+
• Front end development experience using JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and a modern framework/library such as Angular or React
• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative environment
• Active TS/SCI security clearance is required for consideration
Desired skills
• Experience with source control (Git) and CI/CD Pipelines
• Experience writing automated integration and end-to-end tests
• Experience with Docker & Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment of .NET services
• MVC architectural experience (ASP.NET MVC, Razor Pages, or similar) for building clean, testable web applications
• Understanding of secure development best practices
• Ability to take ownership of the full software lifecycle—from conception through operational support.
• Demonstrated mentorship or leadership experience – guiding junior developers, code reviews, and knowledge sharing sessions

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
