Role overview & responsibilities
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Maintenance I is responsible for the general upkeep, sanitation and cleaning, and minor maintenance of facility.
- Cleans and maintains floors daily.
- Cleans and sanitizes all washroom facilities routinely.
- Empties waste baskets throughout the building.
- Vacuums, sweeps and dust offices.
- Maintains outside grounds and removes litter.
- May assist with moving of equipment and or office furniture.
- Assists with snow and ice removal when needed.
- Complete job-related checklists and forms.
- Monitor pest control devices.
- Reporting relationships, work assignments, and work schedules are subject to change to meet company needs and business requirements.
- Attendance at work is an essential function of this job.
