Area Service Manager

 

Covering the North East Region

 

£52,442.28 increasing to £55,202.40 after 12 months service, including Company Car

Your role

  • Act as the Ofsted Registered Manager, supporting the local team in Young People’s Housing Support Services
  • Lead and grow high-quality, sustainable services that meet customer needs and business goals
  • Support strategic planning and help develop new services through identifying growth opportunities
  • Oversee budgets and financial performance to ensure targets are achieved
  • Ensure safe service delivery by meeting all legal and regulatory standards
  • Monitor trends and insights to inform service development
  • Build and manage stakeholder relationships, addressing service gaps effectively
  • Audit performance, resolve issues, and implement improvements
  • Recruit, manage, and develop staff to meet operational needs

 

                                                           

Your skills 

  • Experienced in supporting young people and delivering housing-related services
  • Knowledgeable about CQC and Ofsted-regulated accommodation services
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation, guidance and best practice
  • Skilled in commissioning, budgeting and managing costs effectively
  • Confident in leading teams, solving problems and meeting deadlines
  • Effective at building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
