NIGHT SHIFT - $2 per hour shift differential

Munson Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Emergency Department Technician II to join our high-performing team. This role is ideal for EMTs looking to expand their clinical experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You’ll play a vital role in supporting emergency care delivery through direct patient interaction, clinical assistance, and operational support.
About the Emergency Department:
Our Emergency Department is a 43-bed Level II Trauma Center serving northern Michigan. We are a Regional Referral Center, Certified Stroke Center, and Certified Chest Pain Center, with a dedicated behavioral health wing. We provide high-acuity care to a diverse patient population and are committed to excellence in emergency medicine.

What You’ll Do:
Assist with patient care tasks under the supervision of licensed clinical staff
Transport patients safely within the department and hospital
Stock and maintain medical supplies and equipment
Respond to call lights and assist with patient needs
Answer phones and facilitate communication between team members
Support clinical procedures and maintain a clean, safe environment
What We’re Looking For:
EMT licensure preferred
Maintains BLS certification
One year of experience in emergency or urgent care or college education equivalent preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
