As our Marketing Communications Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our brand's online presence and educating the industry about our innovative offerings. This role will be responsible for written communications such as blog articles, newsletters, email content, and social media management designed around increasing brand awareness, engaging our audience, and driving growth across all platforms. This individual will oversee social media scripts, community engagement, and assisting with content creation when necessary so ProdataKey remains top-of-mind for access control solutions. The ideal candidate will be a driven individual who strives to research and understand the security industry, is able to conduct investigative interviews and write compelling content about our product and services.

Responsibilities

• The Marketing Communications Assistant will assist the marketing team by composing original and engaging content for various campaigns such as, but not limited to blog entries, newsletter campaigns, drip campaigns, and end user informational emails.

• Working as a member of the Digital Marketing Team following SEO guidelines and implementing keywords into web content such as landing pages and frequent blog entries. 

• Provide engaging written content for social media, third-party articles, and other online platforms.

• Assist in the creation and implementation of a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business objectives.

• Stay informed about trends, tools, applications, and emerging platforms to position PDK as an industry leader.

• Actively monitor and respond to social media comments, messages, and reviews promptly and professionally.

• Build meaningful relationships with followers to foster a loyal online community.

• Identify and collaborate with influencers to extend brand reach.

• Implement and Manage targeted social media advertisements to generate additional marketing-qualified leads (MQLs).

• Ensure all social media content aligns with ProdataKey’s voice, values, and visual identity.

• Provide actionable insights to inform future social media strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.

• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with strong attention to detail.

• Strong interviewing and research abilities; able to turn complex topics into engaging stories.

• Basic understanding of technology (hardware and software); specific product knowledge will be provided.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.

• Strategic thinker who can balance creativity with business objectives.

• Strong knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and analytics.

• Ability to analyze data and translate it into actionable strategies.

• Must be willing to travel around the country to different trade shows and events to showcase and highlight our products and services.
