Lead Teacher – Ranger Roundup Learning Center en Perryton ISD

Schedule: Full-Time
Reports to: Center Director

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate is nurturing, organized, and skilled at creating developmentally appropriate lesson plans that foster children’s social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate curriculum and activities

• Maintain a safe, clean, and positive classroom environment

• Observe, assess, and document children’s development and progress

• Build strong relationships with children, families, and co-teachers

• Support and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides

• Follow all licensing regulations, center policies, and health/safety standards

• Communicate effectively with parents and the administrative team

Qualifications:

• Minimum age: 18 years

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• CDA or higher degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)

• At least 1–2 years of classroom experience (lead or assistant role)

• Knowledge of child development and state licensing requirements

• CPR and First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)

• Positive attitude, dependable, and a team player
