Wingate University – Master's Program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling

Wingate University is seeking a full-time, year-round tenure-track faculty member at the assistant level for our Master’s program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. The ideal candidate will hold a Ph.D. from a CACREP-accredited program and must be license-eligible as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of North Carolina.

This individual will teach in our master's level Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience working with clients who have experienced trauma. Familiarity with trauma-informed care approaches and modalities, such as Deep Brain Reorienting, Internal Family Systems, Brainspotting, Accelerated Response Therapy, Finding Solid Ground, EMDR, or similar techniques, is highly valued. The position is set to begin as early as June 1 and will remain open until filled.
