Team Overview:
Team Leaders are ultimately responsible for the success, execution and quality of our Technology Systems (TECH) Identity & Access Management (IAM) IGA Lifecycle delivery team. This role will have significant strategy, technical, thought and people leadership responsibility in a matrixed team structure and environment.
As a Team Leader, you will lead change to implement, configure, enhance, and support the IAM IGA Lifecycle product team using market leading IGA platforms (such as SailPoint or Saviynt). In this role, you will work closely with members of the IAM teams, enterprise architecture, business leaders, product owners, and scrum masters, including continual strategy setting and evaluation of delivery team structure in alignments with firm needs and direction.
Team Leaders will have dual responsibilities – product delivery management over one or two durable product teams focused on digital platforms and experiences, along with people leadership for the technical associates within those teams.
What You'll Do:
- Provide technical guidance, leadership, and insights on IAM IGA core capabilities (Joiners, Movers, Leavers, Access Reviews, SoD, adhoc requests) using market leading technologies (such as Sailpoint or Saviynt)
Continual strategy setting and evaluation of delivery team structure in alignment with firm need
Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships and relationships with Products, QA, UX, PMO and Enterprise Architecture
Removing obstacles and coordinating resources to continually increase team throughput, predictability, and quality
Reducing cycle times and improving usability scores by driving improvement of all things related to the SDLC for teams in their remit
Working with Technology shared services teams to remove impediments and obstacles for improvement of product delivery and cycle time
Setting of product team success measures to deliver the right value to our clients
Contribution and maintenance of a product technology roadmap and backlog and the application of architectural standards in the team’s deliverables
Develop and execute on-going improvements for processes related to the team (e.g., incident management escalations)
Deep understanding of the product team’s systems, processes, priorities, and technologies while representing these aspects to all levels of Technology leadership
Guide teams to do their work in a way that minimizes key-person dependencies and knowledge silos
Representation to ensure firm and division processes are followed and risk is reduced by the product team (e.g., compliance change management, information security, etc.)
Ability to hold teams accountable for setting and achieving Service Level Objectives
Coach and mentor each team member through observation and timely feedback
Identification of key team positions and develop ready-now successors
Develop and execute on-going improvements for processes related to the team (e.g., resource management and support processes).
Establish and maintain effective communications and relationships across teams, departments, vendors, and other divisions
Must be able to establish and maintain effective relationships with vendors while aligning to the firm's objectives
Provide leadership, development, and mentoring to associates through actions.

Position Requirements
What Experience You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree required or related work experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience directly related to Information Systems technology with at least 1 year in a leadership role (mentoring associates, lead analyst, project leaders, etc.) preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of IGA implementations and operational industry best practices and technical expertise
Deep, experience based expertise on all aspects of SDLC best practices
Practical understanding of agile product development principles and values
Financial Services or other regulated environment experience and/or industry license(s) preferred
Current INTERNAL home-based associates: While this role is posted as hybrid, if selected and accepted, you may retain your home-based status. Edward Jones intends in good faith to continue offering the role as home-based, though future business or regulatory needs may require on-site work.
**Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.**
