Working independently under minimal supervision, the incumbent will be responsible for acquiring and analyzing high-resolution structural, diffusion weighted imaging (DWI), resting functional MRI using software developed at the Martinos center. Additional responsibilities will include group level statistical analyses, use of prediction models/support vector machines/machine learning approaches.
Requirements: Excellent and effective written and oral communication skills. Attention to detail. Solid PC-based skills are needed in word processing, spreadsheet and presentation programs. Proficiency with MatLab, Linux, Python especially desirable. Proficiency in statistics and programs such as SPSS are especially desirable. Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Must have analytical skills and ability to resolve technical issues/troubleshoot problems. Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to maintain accurate records.

Essential Functions
-Perform laboratory experiments following established protocols and procedures.
-Prepare and handle samples, reagents, and solutions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety guidelines.
-Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments, conducting routine calibration and troubleshooting as needed.
-Record experimental data accurately and maintain organized records of procedures, protocols, and results.
-Compile and analyze data using appropriate statistical and analytical methods.
-Assist in data interpretation and presentation, contributing to research findings and reports.
