Harvest Superintendent en Caviness Beef Packers

Great opportunity for a Harvest B Shift Superintendent. This position will be responsible for leading the hourly staff member to successfully meet the departments production, quality and safety goals.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Manage and direct staff to insure all processes are being conducted in an effective and efficient manner
• Be actively pursuing safety processes - actively work to prevent/eliminate safety hazards
• Oversee production practices that support and enforce food safety
• Ensure policies and procedures are enforced
• Promote companies' vision and mission
• Develop, encourage and engage team members to in order increase retention
• Identify problems in production and resolve issues in an effective and efficient manner to reduce any downtime.

Requirements:

• Highschool diploma or higher
• 3 years of Industry experience required
• Conflict resolution skills
• Previously supervisor experience preferred -will be given priority
• Ability to work production schedule
• Bilingual a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
• Ability to work independently and have decision making skills
• Ability to multitask
• Basic computer skills
