If you have a passion for quality craftsmanship and a strong background in painting, drywall, wall coverings, and plumbing, we want to meet you!
Key Responsabilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance in guest rooms, meeting spaces, and public areas
- Lead and complete painting, drywall, and wall covering projects with a focus on quality and detail
- Troubleshoot and repair minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issues
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the Engineering workshop and work areas
- Assist in larger renovation or improvement projects under direction of the Director of Engineering
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest and team member maintenance requests
- Follow all hotel safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout, MSDS, and PPE compliance
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or engineering — hotel experience preferred
- Hands-on expertise in painting, drywall repair, wall coverings, and plumbing required
- Basic knowledge of electrical and HVAC systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, use ladders and tools safely, and work in indoor/outdoor conditions
