Software Engineer / Developer (Army Systems) en T2S Solutions

Location: Huntsville, AL or APG, MD (hybrid) - Up to 20% travel

Summary

T2S Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Software Engineer / Developer to join our integrated engineering team in Huntsville, AL or APG, MD supporting the US Army�s Counter Sensing project. This critical role will work with various software development, configuration & deployment automation tasks and projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide new graphical user interfaces, data services, and new software automation, system integration, software capabilities, verification, and validation procedures.
• All while contributing to the areas of requirements maturation, schedules, verification, validation and test, mission data definition, team leadership, architecture analysis, and CONOPs
• Develop new graphical user interfaces and data services to visualize complex data in a concise and easy to understand manner for the soldier
• Assist in the technical troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, corrective engineering and reporting for assigned issues managed within the GITLab platform
• Support multiple areas across the team, affording you opportunities to contribute to each technical area with production and engineering support
• Initial assignment will include providing help our cloud engineer team, and will adjust as the engineering lead deems beneficial to the project and your learning
• Utilize tools, architectures, technologies, and methodologies to support and optimize robust, scalable solution for the Counter Sensing team
• Document engineered diagrams, automations, configurations, and network technologies implemented
• Perform other duties as assigned by the project�s engineering lead

Qualifications

• Minimum of an active Secret security clearance with possibility of TS/SCI
• Bachelors or Masters degree preferred along with 5-10 years of software engineering experience, preferably with Army systems
• Ability to effectively work with teams, developing rigorous and integrated solutions to detailed-level issues
• Experience in agile software engineering methods, with an ability to verbalize its benefits and risks
• Demonstrable knowledge in engineering of graphical user interfaces using ReactJS, Angular, or similar technologies
• Demonstratable knowledge in multiple programming and scripting languages (C, C++, Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Powershell Scripting)
• Five years or more of active software development with GUI development experience
• Experience with common industry design patterns, open-source software solutions and production grade product development within an experimental environment

Preferred

• Experience with TAK-X, EWPMT-X, Integrated Sensor Architecture (ISA), VMF messaging, and Kafka
• GitLab DevSecOps, Ansible, and related CI/CD automation
• Experience with Cross Domain system functionality and processes
