Product Development Specialist en Freudenberg

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate new product development (NPD) projects from concept through launch, ensuring alignment with timelines and deliverables.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Maintain and organize all product documentation, including specifications, feasibility assessments (technical and financial), and basic manufacturing strategies.
• Maintain project tracking tools and provide regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones
• Support the development of Point-of-Purchase (POP) displays in partnership with Sales and Marketing for key retail accounts.
• Coordinates and over-sees 3rd party testing to support our claims.  This includes requesting, collecting, sending samples, and following up with formal documentation of data.
• Support for our customer service department, answering questions related to current and new products.
• Assist with customer set-up documents by providing product specifications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in design, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5+ years' experience in product development, project coordination, or a related field.
• Experience in a retail, manufacturing, or consumer goods environment is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in project tracking tools (e.g., Excel, Smartsheet, or similar platforms).
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.
