Description: Agile5 Technologies is seeking a skilled Mid-Level Test Engineer to create, automate, and execute software tests to ensure the quality and reliability of applications. This role is crucial for performing application testing, validating bugs, and isolating issues to support a forensic and investigative ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be a meticulous professional with a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and a proven ability to provide guidance on root cause and remediation.
Mid-Level Test Engineer Job Duties:
Create software tests and automate test cases for enterprise applications.
Perform application testing, validate bugs, and isolate issues.
Write and initiate tests, then analyze and report test results in a ticketing system.
Perform configuration management, change management, and release management.
Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies.
Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met.
Develop, maintain, and upgrade automated test scripts and architectures.
Analyze test cases and provide regular progress reports.
Identify and document problems, providing guidance on root-cause and remediation.
Support the presentation and formal review of test results.
Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities.
Ensure applications meet security and compliance requirements.
Security Clearance Requirements: Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) required. Candidates must already possess this clearance level upon applying and be able to pass a polygraph examination.
Experience Requirements: Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance. Candidates must have experience with Agile methodologies and an understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Desired Skills / Qualifications: Proficiency with software testing methodologies, test automation frameworks, test case development, and defect tracking is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience with basic scripting, performance and regression testing, and security testing. Experience with Jira, Confluence, DevSecOps practices, GitLab, Docker, cloud platforms, database testing, API testing, and SAFe Agile is highly desirable. Relevant testing certifications (ISTQB, etc.) are preferred.

Status: Full time
Schedule: Day shift, Monday–Friday
Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long durations of time. Also, must be able to continuously operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
