About the role.
Responsible for the receiving, organization, staging, storage and issuing out of all stockroom parts and supplies. The receiving clerk will be working Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shift.
What you’ll be doing.
- Ensure receipts of purchased goods are done on a timely basis with accuracy.
- Operates material handling equipment for movement of stockroom material.
- Ensures clerical function for receipt of purchased material, checking documentation, accuracy, and condition of received goods.
- Receives goods into inventory Management system (SAP) per documentation on a timely basis.
- Accurately issues material from stockroom as needed.
- Accurately issues material from stockroom location to the maintenance staging area, ensuring accuracy as per maintenance order.
- Interface with appropriate maintenance staff to ensure smooth flow of detail and information of materials ordered and deliveries expected.
- Perform cycle count tasks with a minimum of supervision.
- Prepare shipping documentation, packing list and bill of lading for all shipments.
- Review special instructions on shipping documents. Verify and complete shipping documents, stage packages for shipment and pickup by approved carriers in a timely manner.
- Schedule trucks for pick-up when required.
- Organize and 5-S‘s stockroom/receiving area to ensure orderly and safe storage of material.
- Make recommendations to supervisor of changes to area or equipment to enhance material flow and productivity.
What you’ll need to be successful.
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent education.
- Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience with SAP preferred.
- Knowledge of FedEx and UPS software a plus.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds periodically to waist high.
- Reading, writing and comprehension skills equivalent to a High School Diploma/GED level.
- Must be positive, professional, and have ability to adapt easily to changing work scope as required.

Compensation Package: $ - $ Starting at 24.28 USD hourly + Bonus eligibility + Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts
