Facilities Assistant (No Experience Required!)
Hours: 25 hours per week, Monday–Friday
About the Role
Alpine Learning Group is looking for a reliable and hardworking Facilities Assistant to join our team! This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to learn hands-on skills in maintenance, cleaning, and general building care.
No prior experience is required — we’ll provide training and guidance. All you need is a strong work ethic, dependability, and a willingness to help keep our school environment safe and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities
Help maintain and clean buildings and grounds
Assist with simple repairs, maintenance tasks, and equipment setup
Ensure classrooms, offices, and common areas are clean and organized
Support vehicle upkeep and cleanliness
Help with deliveries, moving items, and general facility needs
Secure the building and grounds at the end of each day
Interact courteously with staff, students, and visitors
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager
What We’re Looking For
Dependable and consistently on time
Hardworking with a positive attitude
Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
Able to lift and carry materials as part of daily tasks
Valid driver’s license required
High school diploma or GED preferred
Working Environment
This position involves standing, walking, lifting, and occasional climbing. You’ll be part of a supportive, collaborative team that values reliability, respect, and initiative.
