RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Sr Accountant &Physician Compensation Analyst to join our team. As a Sr Accountant &Physician Compensation Analyst, you will be responsible for performing accounting related activities as assigned with minimal supervision/coaching. This role performs month-end closing duties, prepares and reconciles financial statements, prepares audit and budget schedules, prepares radiologist compensation schedules, and supports management decisions through financial analysis. This is a fully 100% remote position working Monday thru Friday, corporate hours.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(70%) Accounting Functions
- Compile and analyze information to prepare journal entries to general ledger accounts
- Perform timely and accurate reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
- Ensure accounting activity for assigned area(s) is recorded accurately and timely
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements
- Prepare radiologist compensation schedules in accordance with contracts and address related questions posed by radiologists
- Present monthly financial statements to operations leaders and/or board of directors
- Participates in the annual budget process
- Assist in the year end audit
- Research standard accounting transactions (invoice retrieval, inquiry of operations team)
- Monitor progress on capital projects and spending
- Complete complex financial modeling (e.g. Cash flow modeling, pro-forma financial analysis)
- Answer questions from operations leaders
(15%) Physician Compensation
- Calculate physician compensation monthly and quarterly
- Improve standard reporting package for Radiologist Compensation
- Re-design Radiologist Compensation reporting processes
(10%) Team Support
- Function as a subject matter expert (SME) and mentor to accounting team members
- Provide guidance and coaching to Accountant I and II / team member peers
- Collaborate with other departments within the Organization
- Communicate effectively and directly with external partners, functioning as "the face" of RAYUS in partnerships including presenting at partnership Board of Directors meetings
(5%) Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned
