Experienced Welder Wanted!

You must be able to set up welding machines and equipment (both MIG and TIG); read and interpret blueprints to understand the product's specifications; weld, cut, grind, and finish the product; and inspect your work for accuracy and quality.

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 DOE

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-4 PM

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Assists others in setting up the machine and stacking, marking, packing, and transporting finished pieces.
• Set up and operate fabricating machines, such as hydraulic bending tables, rolls, shears, plasma cutters, grinders, and drill presses,
• Cleans and scrapes metal preparatory to fabricating, welding, painting, or shipping.
• Move parts into position manually or with a hoist.
• Remove high spots and cut bevels using hand files, portable grinders, and cutting torches.
• Lift or move materials and finished products manually or with a hoist.
• Straighten warped or bent parts using sleds, hand torches, or straightening presses.
• Clean the work area, machines, tools, and equipment.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields
• Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Ability to read shop drawings and follow verbal instructions.
• Basic Shop math (fractions, measurements)
• Welding Certificate highly desired!
