Weekend Caregiver Needed – Highland, MI
ExpertCare is Hiring! We are seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to support a 14-year-old male with cerebral palsy, anxiety, and ADHD in Highland, Michigan. The ideal candidate is reliable, engaging and patient. Applicant should be willing to take the recipient into the community to work on fun goals working towards socializing, safety and having fun.
Position Details:
Schedule: Weekends
Pay: 15.20- 16.20 per hour, paid weekly
Training: Paid training provided
Start Date: Within two weeks of hire.
Responsibilities:
Provide supervision, companionship, and emotional support
Assist with daily routines, mobility, and recreational activities
Use patience and positive strategies to manage anxiety and attention challenges
Maintain a calm, structured, and encouraging environment
Must be comfortable around pets (friendly household pets present)
Qualifications:
Experience with children or individuals with cerebral palsy, ADHD, or anxiety preferred (training provided)
Reliable, patient, and compassionate personality
Must be 18+ with reliable transportation
