Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner - PRN

 Job Summary:

• Coordinate plan of care, discharge, and specialty referrals as appropriate to meet the age specific needs of the patient.
• Plan and coordinate healthcare education for patients, patients' family, and other health care providers as needed.
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and assessments.
• Interpret, analyze, and evaluate patient’s medical record and social data.
• Perform and/or assist the physician with procedures per collaborative agreement.
• Coordinate and participate in performance improvement activities. 

Qualifications

Education:
Current Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) Specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.                 

Experience:
Required 5-7 years of progressive healthcare management experience, preferably in a medical practice or urgent care setting.             

Additional Skills/Abilities:                                             

Excellent interpersonal skills. Proficient oral and written communication skills.   DOT certification preferred.
