Mariposa Therapy Services, headquartered in Tempe, Arizona, is a local, women- and therapist-owned organization founded in 2009. We have become a leader in pediatric therapy services—providing speech, feeding, occupational, and physical therapy in our clinic, school, and home-based programs throughout Arizona.

About the Role
We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to serve as the welcoming face of our Tempe clinic. This individual plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, excellent client experiences, and efficient communication among our therapy and administrative teams. You’ll be part of a supportive, values-driven company that truly appreciates professionalism, teamwork, and initiative.
Position Details:
- Location: Tempe, Arizona
- Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite (Hours 8:00 AM–6:15 PM, alternating open/close shifts)
- Compensation: $20.00/hour
- Reports to: Clinic Manager and/or Director
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients and families with professionalism and warmth
- Manage client scheduling, appointment confirmations, and cancellations
- Verify insurance and collect co-pays or balances at check-in
- Answer incoming calls, respond to emails, and route inquiries appropriately
- Maintain accurate electronic client files and assist with data entry
- Process mail and other administrative correspondence
- Support the clinic team with supply orders, organization, and daily readiness
- Perform light office tidying to maintain a clean, welcoming environment
- Assist with special projects or events as assigned by the Clinic Director
Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma required; some college or associate degree preferred
- Prior front desk, administrative, or medical office experience preferred
- Professional, polished appearance and communication style
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable with technology — proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar, Drive)
- Quick learner with aptitude for new systems and software
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Knowledge of medical terminology or insurance a plus
