Job Profile Summary
•The purpose of this job family is to ensure that the characteristics of our products comply with the quality standards marks. The objective is to fulfil customer, security, and regulatory requirements through the adherence to industry and company standards and the planning, creation, and execution of testing protocols.
•Hardware Quality Assurance and Testing: Assists hardware product designers to provide input on functional requirements, product designs or potential problems. Develops testing programs throughout the entire product development lifecycle that address areas such as functionality, compatibility, reliability and usability. Documents hardware defects and reports defects to hardware developers to ensure technical accuracy, compliance or completeness or to mitigate risks. Tests hardware modifications to prepare for system implementation.
•Assists in providing input on functional requirements, product designs or potential problems
•Develops testing programs during the product development lifecycle
•Documents and report defects to engineering-Tests hardware/software modifications to prepare for system implementation
•Provides technical support to engineers and scientists in areas such as production, operations, maintenance, safety, testing, process improvement or product development
•Creates schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions or defined plans to perform testing and troubleshooting on electronic or mechanical components, equipment, or systems
•Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data using established formula and procedures and performs detailed mathematical calculations
•Has accountability for the performance and results of medium-sized teams and trains team members and/or has working knowledge and experience in own discipline, uses prescribed guidelines or policies to analyze and resolve problems and receives a moderate level of guidance and direction
