Onsite/Hybrid: Onsite
Job Description
Seeking experienced Senior COBOL Developers having 6 years experience with a strong background in legacy mainframe systems and tools. The ideal candidate(s) will have extensive expertise in COBOL, CICS, VSAM, and DB2, JCL and batch processing on the mainframe and excellent documentation skills.
What will you do?
Analyze and document CICS and Batch programs
Document business logic, program calls, and data flows
Document batch jobs and related operations
Extract procedures/interfaces/functionality exposed by the application for future integration
Collaborate with application owners / SMEs on application documentation and functional verification
Nice To Haves:
Experience in core banking and loan systems
Experience in mainframe legacy modernization and migration
Familiarity with COBOL programs linked to Assembler routines.
Knowledge of Assembler a plus, but not required.
