The Quality Coordinator serves as a first point of contact for employees of Tippecanoe Labs in person and virtually for Quality Assurance and Quality Control issues. The role represents the QA/QC departments in-person, virtually, over the phone, at functions office management and special project support to ensure the ongoing operations of both departments. The Quality Coordinator ensures departmental efficiency and flexibility to create successful and effective outcomes for all involved.
The Quality Coordinator directs and manages all aspects of daily operations for the QA and QC departments and ensure work and schedules are successfully executed. The role supports external suppliers and internal stakeholders as needed. Provide set-up and backup support for various QA/QC processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support QA/QC operations to ensure compliance with cGMP, process safety, and ESH standards.
  • Coordinate and improve workflows, meetings, documentation, and departmental communications.
  • Prepare for and host customer visits, audits, and annual quality updates.
  • Track and report site KPIs, metrics, and training statuses using internal databases.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for QA/QC workflows, including managing requisitions and signature logs.
  • Facilitate teamwork, resolve interdepartmental issues, and promote a professional, inclusive environment.
  • Maintain and manage organizational resources like charts, distribution lists, shared drives, and SharePoint.
  • Create and manage CAPA plans using TrackWise and ensure record retention compliance.
  • Support employee onboarding, transfers, exits, and coordinate training courses and workshops.
  • Handle travel arrangements, expense reports, minor IT issues, and liaise on work orders


REQUIREMENTS

  • Associates degree preferred
  • Highschool Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in QA/QC roles, preferred
  • Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively, with influence across functions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and preferred experience with systems like SuccessFactors, Regulus, SharePoint, SAP, TrackWise, and Concur.
  • Solid understanding of cGMP standards and process safety compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels.
  • High integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities under pressure.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, innovation, and adherence to SOPs and regulatory policies
