Your Role
  • Disciplinary leadership, guidance, development, and qualification of respective employees (including determining training needs, conducting performance and annual reviews, monitoring compliance with company and labour law provisions, and reviewing and approving vacation requests and travel expense reports).
  • Resource planning and management in coordination with the Regional EMEA Lead.
  • Development, implementation, and maintenance of function-to-business partnerships and corresponding working methods.
  • Drive religious certification design to ensure business readiness, legal compliance, and the leveraging of competitive advantages.
  • Strategic and operational responsibility for developing extensive expertise in Religious Certifications.
  • Lead business transformation initiatives and the continuous development and alignment of RSA leadership capabilities in line with the company’s strategy and global RSA strategy, particularly regarding the integration of M&A activities.

Your Profile
  • Qualifications: Degree in food sciences or equivalent.    
  • At least 10 years’ experience in Regulatory Affairs within the food industry. 
  • Minimum 7 years’ proven experience managing religious certification (Kosher and Halal requirements), with an understanding of the landscape and regulatory implications. 
  • Open mindset and curiosity to adopt and implement new ways of working. 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain regulatory topics to non-regulatory audiences and relate them to the business context. 
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead multicultural teams, identify employees’ capabilities, and allocate group responsibilities to capitalise on previous experience and expertise. 
  • High technical competence and creativity in problem-solving. 
  • Strong command of SAP applications. 
  • Experience in developing and leveraging networks with various stakeholders, both internally and externally. 
  • High competence in mediation, with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility. 
  • Proficiency in English. Command of other languages spoken in the region of operations is preferred (German, Spanish).
