JOB POSITION

• Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking for a Senior Software Engineer.
• Associate is responsible for understanding the requirements, have to convert the requirements to Java code, test the code, also project in the front end with Angular or any Front end technology tool ,test it and make it available for Business users

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Role requires 24*7 support on rotational basis includes weekend support as well.
• Should be able to perform analysis on data provided.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes using Snowflake and AWS services.
• Optimize and tune SQL queries to ensure efficient performance and resource utilization across various data stores.
• Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Develop scripts and automation tools using Python to streamline data workflows and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions that align with business needs.
• Implement best practices for data modeling, architecture, and governance to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues to maintain high data availability and reliability.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data infrastructure.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• SQL- ability to write complex SQL queries and analyze large datasets efficiently (Medium to High proficiency)
• Shell Scripting – hands-on experience with Bash or other scripting tools for automation (Medium proficiency)
• Snowflake – experience with data loading, transformation, and query optimization (Medium proficiency)
• AWS – familiarity with key cloud services like S3, Lambda, Glue, EC2, IAM, etc. (Medium proficiency)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab)
• Exposure to Airflow or similar orchestration tools
• Understanding of Data Lake architecture and Data Mesh concepts
