Project Manager

We’re looking for a Project Manager who thrives on solving business challenges and delivering elated end-users. In this role, you'll drive seamless project execution, be accountable for the outcomes of all assigned projects, optimize operational processes, and collaborate with all relevant functional teams to ensure high-quality results. Reporting to the Director of Success Office, you’ll take ownership of IT projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet VersaFile’s 4KPIs.
At VersaFile, we combine deep expertise in Content Business Process Management with automation technologies, helping organizations navigate digital transformation with ease.
This is a remote position, but availability during Pacific Time hours is required to support both clients and internal teams effectively.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive and track project performance, ensuring objectives are known and met on time, within budget and scope.
- Manage resource allocation for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Ensure accurate time tracking and work with accounting to facilitate proper billing and invoicing.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation.
- Champion consistent, effective project management practices.
- Provide administrative and project coordination support to the Service Delivery team.
- Keep project information accurate and updated in relevant systems.
- Support upstream and downstream processes to optimize the Service Delivery process
Skills
- Project leadership
- Strong business acumen with a market-driven approach and the ability to adapt strategies as needed.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet (preferred).
- Solid understanding of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Experience working in a Service Delivery /Consulting environment
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- Actively pursuing PMP certification.
- Hands-on experience managing IT projects from end to end.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proven ability to make sound decisions and exercise good judgment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working directly with external clients.
- Fluent in English and eligible to work in Canada
Nice to haves:
- Passion for solving business problems with Automation and AI.
- Technical background – SAP, Enterprise System migrations/upgrades, Enterprise Resource Planning [ERP] systems, Cloud infrastructure, Software development
Location: Our office is in Vancouver, but we are open to someone working remotely within Canada.
