Occupational Therapy Assistant (PRN) – Continuing Care Retirement Community

We are seeking motivated Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) to provide flexible, as-needed support in a welcoming environment that values professional growth and patient well-being. This PRN position offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and a supportive team, making it ideal for those seeking a flexible schedule and meaningful work.


Key Responsibilities:

- Assist licensed occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans for residents

- Provide direct therapy services to residents based on individualized care plans

- Support residents in improving or maintaining their functional abilities

- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress notes

- Collaborate with the therapy team to ensure seamless patient care

- Adapt to varying caseloads and schedules, including weekends and weekdays as needed


Skills and Qualifications:

- Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

- Current state licensure or registration as required

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Flexibility to work on a PRN basis, including weekends and weekdays

Requirements

Applicants must have an active Ohio Occupational Therapy Assistant license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Ohio license. These qualifications include a degree from an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy assisting program, subsequent passing of the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT®) examination and fulfilling the state’s requirements for licensure. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States. Proof of eligibility will be required upon offer of employment.
