Position Title: Contract Specialist, Associate
Location: TSA HQ, 6595 Springfield Center Dr, Springfield, VA 22150
Contract Duration: 2.5 years

Clearance: DHS TSA Suitability withing the last 12 months

Join Our Team – TSA PMSS Program

The Contract Specialist will provide acquisition and procurement support across all phases of the contracting process—pre-award, award, and post-award—in accordance with the FAR, HSAM, and TSA policies. This includes developing acquisition plans, statements of work, milestone schedules, and solicitation documents; assisting with source selections and award documentation; and maintaining complete, compliant electronic contract files.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support contract modifications, option exercises, performance assessments (CPARS), compliance monitoring, and contract closeout.
  • Update the Contracting & Procurement Database (CPDB).
  • Ensure document integrity in the Electronic Contract Filing System (ECFS).
  • Contribute to acquisition research and industry engagement activities.
  • Prepare presentations, meeting minutes, and support FOIA, Congressional, and audit responses.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS).
  • 3–5 years of experience in federal procurement or contract management.
  • Knowledge of FAR, HSAM, and TSA acquisition policies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with contract lifecycle management tools (e.g., CLM, ECFS).
  • Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare acquisition documentation and improve operational efficiency.

Clearance Requirement:

  • DHS (TSA) Suitability / EOD
    1. Preferred: Have or had a TSA Badge within the last 12 months
    2. Minimum: Ability to obtain a TSA Clearance (US Citizenship). This will take about 3 months before starting.

Work Location & Schedule:

  • 9am-5pm ET; Onsite only; no remote option.

Primary Location:

  • TSA HQ, 6595 Springfield Center Dr, Springfield, VA 22150
  • Onsite Requirements:  100% Full-time onsite
