Position Overview:
The Manager, Billing is a lead position that drives the success of our billing team. The key components of this position are the ability to manage payment processing, lead process improvement projects, develop analytical operations reports, and manage third party vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of billing team to maximize collection rates.
- Train, mentor and develop team members on both the technical and non-technical aspects of their positions.
- Provide data for ad hoc requests as needed. Must be able to think analytically and develop an expert understanding of business operational systems to query, summarize, and present information quickly and accurately.
- Ensure the integrity of the billing system by establishing the appropriate system of metrics and internal controls.
- Research new payment methods – determine feasibility and prepare recommendations and business case in support of recommendations.
- Lead efforts to improve and streamline current processes to drive efficiency, quality, and accuracy of billing operations.
- Maintain vendor relationships to ensure compliance with billing industry standards and industry trends.

Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Operations with a focus on business analytics and project management.
- College degree or equivalent experience preferably in Business Operations, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Ability to communicate with internal and external personnel in a positive manner utilizing strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to converse at a technical level with IT.
- Demonstrated analytical and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Annual Salary Range (Chattanooga, TN): $71,859.60 $95,812.80
Annual Bonus Potential: 10%
