Material Coordinator Assistant en Plastech Corporation

The Material Coordinator Assistant is responsible for the coordination of the large part re-grinder and accurate inventory of the regrind generated from that activity. The Material Coordinator Assistant will also be responsible for staging and inventorying all raw materials and colorants in IQMS and physically locating the materials in the warehouse. Additional responsibilities include managing the material handling area and warehouse; Keep all material and packaging clean and free from contamination and damage. This position also supports and assists the Material Handlers and Material Manager as needed.

Hours Available:

• 1st Shift - 7:00am to 3:30pm ($20.00-$22.00 per hour) - Monday thru Friday schedule

***External candidates receive a $500 BONUS after 90 days of employment (must meet performance and attendance requirements).

Qualifications:

• One year of Material Handling experience.
• Training and certification in the safe operation of material handling equipment, specifically a motorized forklift will be required (training done on site).
• Communicate effectively with co-workers and management.
• Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations and professional drawings.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but non-engaging, written and oral instructions.
• Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Apply good judgment in recognizing scope of authority.
• A qualified candidate must possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
