Plus, they offer a collaborative, innovative, and challenging work atmosphere that encourages contribution and engagement. To thrive as the Collections Director, you should have:        10+ years of leadership experience in collections, automotive finance, or specialty lending, with proven ability to lead and grow high-performing teams.Solid analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills, with expertise in collections strategy, risk management, and interpreting laws and regulations.Demonstrated success managing enterprise-wide initiatives and driving cross-functional collaboration.Well-organized, detail-oriented self-starter able to handle multiple priorities efficiently and independently.Bachelor’s degree preferred, with solid communication skills; occasional travel may be required. Your responsibilities as the Collections Director will include:        Lead and develop managers and teams, setting goals, priorities, and allocating resources to drive performance.Oversee the strategic direction and operational performance of Collections and Loss Mitigation departments.Design and implement strategies to optimize processes, systems, and customer resolution programs for sustainable growth and improved portfolio performance.Establish, monitor, and achieve key performance indicators, delinquency, and loss goals.Participate in senior-level decision-making, manage departmental budgets, and support cross-functional initiatives. About Our ClientOur client is guided by a clear vision built on a foundation of strong, lasting relationships—with lending partners, employees, and borrowers alike.
