Loudoun County Department of Family Services seeks a dedicated and experienced professional for a Public Benefits Triage Specialist. The successful candidate will join the Public Benefits program within the Department of Family Services which envisions better health, safety, and well-being for all. Position Duties
The Public Benefits Triage Specialist serves as the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance with public benefit programs such as SNAP, Medicaid, and TANF. This position provides high-quality, front-line customer service by answering inquiries, helping customers complete required forms, gathering necessary documentation, and guiding them through the eligibility process. The Specialist also educates the public about available programs, assists with applications, and may be assigned cases or renewals to ensure timely service delivery.

Hiring salary commensurate with experience.
Minimum Qualifications
Bi-lingual skills in Spanish and English. Public Benefits policy knowledge and experience processing SNAP, Medicaid, and TANF applications and renewals.
Other Qualifications
The successful candidate must pass pre-employment background checks which may include criminal, credit, Child Protective Services (CPS), and DMV. Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record (driving records may be reviewed annually for continued qualification. Must hold or obtain certifications required by the Department.
