POSITION OVERVIEW 

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager for our Comfortrol Team. They will be responsible for leading, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of assigned HVAC and mechanical construction projects from inception through completion. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards and client satisfaction.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and supervise HVAC Projects from inception to completion
  • Schedule and coordinate with suppliers
  • Deliver projects according to client needs and budget
  • Lead the crew and is accountable for how the crew completes the assigned work, and must understand and consistently apply the employer's policies.
  • Accountable for following project plans and schedules and ensuring the crew's daily and weekly activities meet production goals.
  • Manage the project team to include all technicians on the job site
  • Report on variances and adjust as needed
  • Accountable for ensuring that the completed work meets standards and for recommending work processes that will improve productivity and product quality.
  • Project billing with the progress of construction
  • Remain in direct daily contact with dispatch to ensure that jobs are being scheduled efficiently

  • Elite level of customer service, to ensure we continue to be the FirstCall our customers make for their HVAC & Refrigeration needs

ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT  

This position reports directly to the local Branch Manager.

Qualifications


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of HVAC and project management experience
  • Team leader with excellent diplomatic and communication skills, able to handle and resolve conflicts effectively in a firm but fair manner
  • Experience of Microsoft Office software
  • Valid driver's license
  • Experience with BuildOps software helpful

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate the computer keyboard and telephone, reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
