Description/ Job Summary:

ThermAvant is seeking a part-time analyst to work closely with IT management and support the building, 

testing and troubleshooting of IT and related systems, code development and 'Tier 1’ user support. This 

position requires proof of "US Person" to meet ITAR restrictions on active programs.

Responsibilities:

• New system builds, upgrades, rebuilds

• Assist in the development of automation and data collection systems

• Gather and maintain documentation on the various computer systems and peripherals

• Manage receiving, processing, and distribution of loaner IT equipment

• Support ‘Tier 1’ help-desk items, keeping user systems at peak performance and availability

• Contribute to continuous improvement of Company’s technology, engineering, and manufacturing capabilities

• Support innovative brainstorming on solutions to satisfy such requirements

Requirements

Job Requirements:

• Must be a “US Person”

• General PC assembly skills and good manual dexterity (not required, but preferred)

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

• Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel 

• Good computer and communication skills

• Experience in coding of some kind is a plus (C++, MATLAB, LabVIEW)

• Working Hours

• Within the hours of Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• Up to 30 hours/week
