JOB SUMMARY

The Specialist in Regulatory Affairs will be part of the Risk Analysis and Strategy group. Working closely with the group's manager, the Specialist will be responsible for developing strategies and plans to proactively address upcoming regulations. This role involves collaborating with regional headquarters regulatory teams and internal cross-functional partners (AIC/SACs) to ensure smooth workflow and compliance with new regulations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

• You will monitor, gather information/data/content relevant to new, updated or upcoming regulations and analyze regulation requirements, timeline, and impact. 
• You will assess business impact based on analyzed regulation contents through using AMF or information about RMs/Package that other folks collected.           
• Based on the above information, you will be making a strategy on how to comply with new regulation through communication with cross-functional partners. Share information with leadership and appropriate cross-functional partners to bring their awareness to ensure compliance and strategic decision-making can be executed.                                                             
• You will be acting as liaison between regional headquarters and SAC business also among SAC business.
• You will initiate and deliver efficient workflows in SAC to ensure compliance with regulations.

WHO YOU ARE 

• You have a BS or BA Chemistry or related field
• You have 3+ years of Regulatory experience
• You have excellent communication skills. You will need to be able to provide statements and/or Regulatory’s position in an easily comprehensible manner to cross-functional team.
• You have a positive attitude towards learning new things even if it is not directly linked to your projects.
• You speak up and raise concerns or unclear points to have yourself understood.
• You have experience managing and analyzing large volumes of regulatory data and content to ensure compliance and strategic decision making
• You must have excellent computer skills especially for excel skills.
• You are detail-oriented; to ensure regulatory compliance.           
• You are web and internet savvy; navigate through web to retrieve information.
• You are goal-oriented, proactive, able to multi-task, strong organizational skills
• You can work in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
• Experience in cosmetic/personal care, a plus.

The base pay for this position may vary based on geographic location. Actual base pay offered will be based on several factors including job-specific knowledge, education, skills, and depth of experience. In addition to base pay, we may offer additional forms of compensation as components of a total compensation package, including participation in our bonus program which features the ability to overachieve, in addition to a full range of competitive benefits.
